在Ubuntu的使用中，使用系统自动的播放软件是不能正常播放RMVB格式的视频文件的。

1、下载
http://www.real.com/linux
2、安装
现在我们打开终端执行如下命令
进入文件所存放的目录
$ chmod +x RealPlayer11GOLD.bin
为BIN文件加上执行权限
$ ./RealPlayer11GOLD.bin
执行
Extracting files for Helix installation.......................

Setup will help you get RealPlayer running on your computer.
Press [Enter] to continue...
按回车继续
Enter the complete path to the directory where you want
RealPlayer to be installed. You must specify the full

the chosen directory.
Directory: [/home/laozang/RealPlayer]:
这里默认是安装在当前用户的目录下，如果需要更改就 输入安装目录
You have selected the following RealPlayer configuration:
Destination: /home/laozang/RealPlayer
Enter [F]inish to begin copying files, or [P]revious to go
back to the previous prompts: [F]:
此时我们可以按F继续安装，如果要更改路径可以按P返回上一步 继续安装
此时我们进入刚才设置的目录：
找到realplay文件，双击并执行
RealPlayer 11.0.1.1056 的 Linux 版本 版本注释，继续下一步：
用户许可协议,Accept同意后继续
网络测试，可以SKIP跳过
OK，安装完成了
